Cheese Gobi Recipe

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Cauliflower – 1 large
Double bean seeds – 1/2 cup
Cheese – 1 cube
Milk – 1/2 cup
Spring onion (chopped) – 2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Curd – 3 tsp
Aniseed – 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Oil – 1 tsp
Butter – 1 tsp
Sugar – some
Salt – as needed

For Coarse paste:

Onions (chopped) – 3
Ginger (chopped) – 1/2 tsp
Red chillies – 4

For smooth paste:

Cashewnuts – 8
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp

Method:

For vegetables:

1. Sperates cauliflower into medium sized flowerets.
2. Then soak it in warm water, then strain it & keep it aside.
3. Cook double beans till it becomes soft & keep it aside.

For pastes:

1. Grind onion, ginger & red chilli for coarse paste.
2. Soak cashewnuts, poppy seeds in hot milk for 10 mins.
3. Now grind cashewnuts & poppy seeds for smooth paste.

For Cheese:

1. Grate cheese using grater and keep it.

For dish:

1. Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf & aniseed.
2. After that add corase paste & saute it. Fry till oil separates from masala.
3. Add cauliflower, some water & turmeric powder.
4. Cook till soft and then add cooked double beans to it.
5. Add blended curd & cook till oil floats on top.
6. Then add smoth paste, salt, little sugar, milk.
7. Stir for another 2 mins, remove from fire and pour it in a serving dish.
8. Sprinkle grated cheese, spring onion on top.
9. Cheese Gobi Recipe is ready to serve with naan or sapathi.
