Cucumber & Red Onion Salad
Cannoball cabbage / Red cabbage – 1/2
Cucumber – 250 g
Red onion – 1 small
Walnut halves – 50 g
Garlic cloves – 1
Walnut oil / soyabean oil – 50 g
White wine vinegar – 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Black pepper as needed
1. Rince, peel & finely chop the cucumber and onion.
2. Put cucumber, onion then add walnuts to the salad bowl.
3. To make dressing, add garlic, then pour walnut oil, white vinegar, salt, black pepper & whisk them all well.
4. Before serving trickle the walnut dressing over the salad & toss gently.
