Strawberry Cake using pressure cooker
Serves : about 16 pieces
[1 cup – 240 ml]
All purpose flour or maida – 2 1/4 cups
Sugar – 1 cup
Curd – 1 1/2 cup
Milk – 1/2 cup
Oil or butter – 1/ 2 cup
Baking powder – 2 tsp
Baking soda – 3/4 tsp
Strawberry Essence – 2 tsp
Rose food colour – 2 drops (if needed)
Method:
1. Heat pressure cooker in high flame for about 10 mins.
2. In a bowl add curd,baking powder & baking soda, mix it well.
3. Add sugar & beat well till it dissolve. Now add oil & mix well.
4. Add essence and food coloring (if needed). Then add flour & fold gently
5. Add milk till get desired consistency. Pour the batter in greased pan and bake for about 30 mins.
6. To check it is baked insert toothpick in center of pan if it comes out clean then it is baked.
7. Here the tastiest Strawberry Cake is ready.
